Sandy hooke elementary shooting

This is a poem and Picture I found going around on facebook about the innocent children lost in the Sandy hooke elementary shooting.

twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate.
their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
they could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
they were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say.
they remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
"where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
"this is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at God's house."
when what to their wondering eyes did appear,
but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
then He opened His arms and He called them by name.
and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring
those children all flew into the arms of their King
and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face.
and as if He could read all the questions she had
He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad."
then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe
then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand,
"Let My power and presence re-enter this land!"
"may this country be delivered from the hands of fools"
"I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!"
then He and the children stood up without a sound.
"come now my children, let me show you around."
excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran.
all displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can.
and i heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,
"in the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

Nerd Day and a little on Sandy hooke shooting.

Hey hey hey,
today was NERD day today at school my out fit is AWESOME!!!!! so I crimped my hair so it is really poofy then  I put it in high pig tails. then I colored over the reald3d thing on my 3d glasses knocked the lenses out and put medical tape in the middle. For my shirt I wore a kinda loose white button down shirt looks like a girlier version of a boys white sunday shirt. I wore my shirt tucked in to my light blue pants over pink leggings the pant legs were rolled up one higher than the other(one knee length and the other in mid-shin) then I wore some regular airwalk shoes (converse style shoes). I also wore an untied black bowtie hanging around my neck. I was going to draw some black freckles on my face with some black eyeliner but I didn't have enough time. So yeah if you want to dress up like a nerd here are some tips for you. Hope it helped. Tomorrow is ugly sweater day, thursday is clash day (don't ask me what that is even I don't know) And finally Friday is holiday hat day! Spirit week is an exciting week(oh and yesterday was jersey day but I wore yellow and blue to honor those that died in the shooting on Friday at Sandy Hooke elementary that is their schools colors.20 kids and 6 adults (not including the killer that also died) this was a very sad time for every one to hear that 26 innocent lives were lost.
Well I'll leave you with that and this is Kelli reporting out.

Heyo,
just a little tip for the future,
Showing up at home 1 hour after school got out does not make your mom too happy. ;) (my mom just gave me a little mini lecture about how far away I could be in one hour if I got kidnapped, and she wouldn't even know about it. The reason I almost always get out late is because after the bell my and my best school buddy maddi stay after in our 7th period class because Mr.B is our favorite teacher (he is also our math teacher for now) he also has 3 lizards in the class room that we get to hold after school so we do. Sadly next symester we wont have him anymore :'( Well hope you have a good day. I hope to have a sleep over/or late night with my BFF. Because I don't have mutual or dance tonight since it is now fall break!!!!!:D
W/ much laughter and love,

Hi just sharing what I feel like right now,
Sometimes I feel like my so called "best friend" doesn't even deserve me. She keeps taking control and being  kind of a jerk about it, she shut the door in my face today not slammed just shut but still she was all, "ok, bye" and barley gave me enough time to slip in, "bye" back to her. I really feel like locking her in a chair and setting her straight by talking to her about all my complaints and try to take charge myself. ugh.... Idk what to do we have been friends since I was 5 and she was almost 4, I don't know if she is a true friend or not, if she is a best friend or a fraud or if she just wants someone to push around and take control of we have had good times and really bad at the end of last year we didn't talk to each other for over a month when we got back together we started over our friendship idk what I should do.I don't really think it is worth losing a dance partner and/or a friend. So sad, don't know what to do.
Sincerly,
            Kelli :(

Ugh don't like school anymore today the vice principal told me that I couldn't wear short shorts over leggings but I could wear just the white leggings and it would make my bright pink under wear show wow what a stupid rule I mean how is it bad I wore this today because I have ballet after school and it is my ballet/ gymnastics out fit. I think it was totally ok and modest but any way I had to slip on my sweats instead. I think it isn't right that I can wear just the leggings that will show my underwear and not the shorts on top I mean that is the whole reason I wore the shorts is so I wouldn't show my under wear now that is what would concern me more. ugh people and their rules these days I never want to ever go back to school AGAIN IN MY LIFE. (well until high school then that guy wont be there, and college, now I can't wait until I am in high school and until everyone forgets about it :'(
I really didn't mean any harm and I didn't know.
embarrased never want to show my face at school again, Kelli
